Project title: AI-Powered Detection of Chilean Needle Grass for Mine Recultivation in Australia.
Proofminder was awarded a grant under the third call of the Eureka Innowwide programme — a competitive, EU-funded initiative supporting innovative SMEs in testing the viability of their solutions in international markets.
The EBRD AgVenture competition is an initiative by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to support early-stage agritech startups in its regions of operation.
Proofminder has been supported by a range of competitive programmes spanning field validation, commercial acceleration, and international exposure — including Test Farms, Sales Booster, and the Bilbao Campus Experience in 2024. In 2025, Proofminder secured approval for the Proof of Concept Financial Instrument.
Proofminder was selected as one of 20 deeptech startups to join Ventures Thrive, a pan-European venture builder funded by the European Innovation Council. The 8-month programme connected us with world-class mentors, corporate partners, and investors — and played a direct role in accelerating our platform development and commercial growth.
The project aims to develop machine learning algorithms capable of recognising and analysing new agricultural crop cultures, thereby supporting the broader application of precision agriculture.
